One of Estonia's most respected festivals, the Rapla Church Music Festival has been taking place for 20 years, showcasing some of the world's richest music. Concerts are held in the Church of Mary Magdelene, which is renowned for its acoustics, and a number of other smaller churches in the area.
The biggest names in Estonian music have performed at the festival over the years, as have stars from the United Kingdom to Japan. Opera singer Pille Lill has been its artistic director since 2010, and it was with her support that the Rapla Summer School was established, which holds masterclasses for string instrumentalists, conductors and singers.

XII rahvusvaheline suurevormilise keraamika sümpoosion
Keraamika sümpoosion toob kokku nii rahvusvaheliselt tunnustatud kunstnikud erinevatest maadest kui ka nooremad keraamikud. 3-e nädala jooksul loovad kunstnikud mitmeid keraamilisi skulptuure, mis kõik saavad lõplikult valmis peale ahjus põletamist. Ainulaadne puudega köetav anagama-tüüpi ahi on Baltimaade suurim. Parima ülevaate töödest saab vabaõhunäitusel 20.07., mil kõik valminud taiesed mõisaparki välja pannakse. Sümpoosioni jooksul toimuvad lisaks intensiivsele töö- ja põletusprotsessile ka avatud presentatsioonid. Kunstnikud tutvustavad nii oma loomingut kui ka oma maa kultuuri.

Selle aasta juulis alustab Eestit vallutama mitu tuntud laulumeest oma poegadega : Mait Maltis koos Jakko ja Mikko´ga oma tuntud hääduses, Toomas Anni poja Tauri´ga, kes on saanud maha oma esimese CD´ga, Gunnar Loho poeg Artisega kes on pühendunud kitarrimaailma saladustesse ja Peeter Kaljuste poeg Martin´iga, kes üllatab meid oma lähenemisega seltskondlikku melusse.
